WOMEN CELL

MTTC Women cell organised various events like webinars, cultural programs, magazine, Women's day celebrations, flashmob and so on. 

The women cell of Mount Tabor Training College organized a webinar based on the topic " Energizing society through Empowering women" on 7 February 2022 at 10 am through Google meet by Ms. Joyce Mary Antony. Joyce ma'am gave an amazing talk about the current problems faced by the women, and how to cope up with these issues. She made an interactive talk with students which made the speech different from other motivational speakers. She explained the top 10 life skills recommended by WHO.

                                

                             
       
The women cell of MTTC organised the second webinar on the topic " Wellness training programme on role of nutrition for a healthy woman" was on 19 February 2022 through Zoom platform. The session was handled by Dr. Leena Saju, Group Manager,  Dept. of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum. The class was really beneficial for all us as the resource person discussed various aspects of nutrition for a woman. 

                           


The MTTC women cell in association with Kerala State Women Development Corporation organised cultural events on 24 February 2022 at General hall. The students performed various programs like thematic dance, enacting various woman personalities from film, mime etc.

                                              


        


The women cell of MTTC organised the third webinar on the topic " Stress management for successful life" on 26 February 2022 through Google meet platform. The session was handled by Dr. Geetha Jacob, Clinical Psychologist. The class was really helpful as most of us wanted to know the strategies to cope up with stress in daily life. 



            

The women cell of MTTC organised International Women's day celebrations on 7 and 8 of March 2022 at the General Hall. The theme of Women's day was  Gender Equality for a Sustainable tomorrow. There was panel discussions based on 6 different subthemes and various competitions associated with womens day. In addition to that manuscript release was done by Dr. Rosamma Philip, Principal and Rev Fr. K A Mathews, Governing body memeber. A complaint box was also installed at the college.
