School internship Phase II - Week 2

The School Internship Phase II - week 2 was from 19/6/2023 to 23/6/2023. On 19/6/2023, I had class at VIII B in the fifth period and taught the topic 'Measuring length' from the chapter Measurements and Units. There was Reading Day celebrations in the school auditorium from 10 am to 11:30 am. Various programs like recitation, story telling, book donation, inauguration of Library for the academic year 2023-2024. On 20/6/2023, I took a class on 'Mass' for VIII B from the chapter Measurements and Units in the first period. Then taught the topic 'Rutherford Model of Atom' from the chapter Structure of Atom for IX A in the fifth period. I got a substitution at V B in the seventh period and conducted a word game for the students. On 21/7/2023, I had class at VIII B in the third period and taught the topic 'Time' from the chapter Measurements and Units. Then took the class at IX A and taught the topic 'Bohr model of atom' from the chapter Structure of atom in the sixth period. I also prepared question paper for the selection of JRC candidates for the new academic year. As per teacher's instruction, I prepared 50 questions from General knowledge, Social science and Science. I couldn't go to school on 22/7/2023 and 23/7/2023 due to the demise of my grandmother.

School Internship Phase II - Week 1

The School Internship Phase II - week 1 was from 14/6/2023 to 16/6/2023. As it was our first day of school internship, we reported to the Headmistress of the school and collected the timetable from the subject teachers. There was a special assembly for celebrating World Blood Donation day organized by JRC cadets. There was an awareness program on the importance of blood donation and the program was inaugurated by Headmistress Ms. Gracen Mathew. I had class at IX A and taught the topic 'Dalton's atomic theory' from the chapter Structure of atom. There was a motivational and guidance class as a part of Merit day 'Excellentia 2023'. The class was handled by Prof. Alias Janson, Vice Principal, Mar Baselius Engineering College, Idukki. 
On 15/6/2023, I had class at VII B in the sixth period and taught the topic 'Length' from the chapter Measurements and Units. Also, I had substitution at VIII C in the first period and conducted a quiz competition for them. Then I had substitution at V B in the second period, VIII B in the fourth period and IX B in the seventh period. In these classes, I helped the students to improve the reading skills. Overall, the first week helped me to prepare the lesson plans by considering the needs of the students.
