School Internship Phase I - Week 6

The teaching practice week 6 was from 16/1/2023 to 20/1/2023. On 16/1/2023 I had class at 8B on the topic characteristics of sound in the third period. I also had substitution at 6B and 6C. There was a motivational class for the parents of 10th class students in order to reduce the exam tension of students and role of parents in that. The class was handled Smt. Jomy Linu, Asst Professor of Mount Zion Medical College. On 17/1/2023, I taught the topic nitrogen in 9A in the sixth period. I had substitution at 10E in the third and fourth period, 7B in the fifth period. There was a special assembly to congratulate students who got prize in various competitions. The medicines for deworming was also given to students aa a part of National Deworming day. On 18/1/2023 I had class at 8B on the topic propagation of sound in the third period. I also had substitution at 9C and 9B in the fifth and seventh period respectively. On 19/1/2023 I had substitution class at 9C . On 20/1/2023 I had class at 9A on the topic chlorine. I also took a class on yoga in 8A in the second period where I taught Tadasana to the students.

               

  

               
   

       

    

 

School Internship Phase I - Week 5

The teaching practice week 5 was from 9/1/2023 to 13/1/2023. On 9/1/2023 I had class at 9A on the topic Hydrogen as a fuel in the fourth period. The rehearsal for model parliament was conducted in the school auditorium. On 10/1/2023, I had class at 8B on the topic Frequency in the fourth period and 9A on the topic Oxygen and its preparation in the fifth period. I also had substitution class at 9B and 9C in the 6th and 7th period respectively. On 11/1/2023, I had class at 9A on the topic reactions of oxygen in the fourth period and 8B on the topic natural frequency in the fifth period. I conducted the practicum for a general paper for the 9th standard students. I had substitution class at 7B. On 12/1/2023, I taught the topic factors affecting natural frequency in 8B at the fifth period. There was Model Parliament competition in association with Institute of Parliamentary Affairs as a part of National Youth day celebrations. On 13/1/2023, I taught about ozone in 9A in the second period. I also had substitution class at 9C. 

                           

School Internship Phase I - Week 4

After the university exams, the school internship phase 1 was restarted on January 4,2023. On 4/1/2023, I had class at 9A in the fourth period and I started a new chapter Non metals. I got substitution at two classes. There was a program of giving newspaper to each class conducted by Mathrubhumi newspaper. On 5/1/2023, I had class at 8B in the first period and started the new chapter Sound. I did the sociometry practical in class 9A and collected the data. The training for Republic day parade was going in the school and we had to assist the PT sir and Celin teacher. On 6/1/2023, I had chemistry class at 9 in the first period and physics class at 8B in the seventh period. On 7/1/2023, I had chemistry class at 9A in the fourth period where I taught about combination reaction.

FINSEL 2023 - NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

The new year celebration FINSEL 2023 was organised by the college union on January 3, 2023 in the General hall. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rosamma Philip, Principal of the college and the new year message was given by Fr K A Mathews, Governing body member. The student representatives from first and second year also gave the new year message. Each of us selected a new year friend and gave the gift to each other.
